I have to say that my cousin is married to such a beautiful person. And she is an amazingly gorgeous pregnant person. :) I had such a great time photographing her today. It was so easy. (And I might also add that I am getting so much better at getting SOOC images the way I want.) I am so happy I had the chance to get to know this woman better. We definitely need to get together and hang out.

At the birthday party I shot this past weekend, I also took a few shots of the kids (cousins) together. I was also supposed to be shooting my first newborn. But that didn’t pan out very well (unfortunately). She was hungry, and then I was busy shooting the party. Plus, the lighting was horrible. It had been raining (which luckily did eventually clear up so the pool was used). Here are the group shots, along with the couple of shots I took of little miss R.

This past weekend I was able to photograph more of Brandy’s family at little B’s 2nd birthday party. She invited our entire family, but only Brenna and I came. (Can I just say that Brenna had an absolute blast and fell in love with almost everyone there.) I had such a wonderful time at this party. And I felt like I had known this family for years. They are all soo nice and fun and normal. I was not even nervous. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of this moment in your lives. I had a lot of fun and enjoyed every minute we were there. I hope to share in more memories.  

Saturday I photographed a beautiful 2 year old that was not quite sure about me and my camera at first. She was definitely a daddy’s girl. As she clinged to her daddy we tried to get her to take a walk, but as soon as she saw the camera in my hands clicking away she withdrew. But it did not take too long before she lowered her guard and allowed me into her world. Luckily I brought Brenna with me, because little K took to her and seemed to not make a move without Brenna by her side. Once she opened up, she was such a sweetheart. I am glad I got to share a few moments with this little beauty.

I love these images from the shoot with Brandy’s family. It shows how playful they are. So cute.

My sister graduated high school this May. At first it didn’t feel like a big deal to me (which I kinda feel bad about). But my eyes teared up when I saw her walking across the platform. There are about about 9 years between us. And it certainly shows, although we have a lot of similarities, we are definitely different. I love her though.
